Driving

From Highway 101 / Van Ness Ave.
1. Turn west onto California Street and drive 0.8 miles.

2. Turn north (right) onto Pierce Street and drive 500 feet to the corner of Pierce and Clay.


From I-80 West
1. Exit I-80 at the "Mission St. / Fell Street" exit and follow the exit ramp approximately 0.75 miles to the stoplight.

2. Turn right at the stoplight onto Laguna St. and drive north for approximately 0.75 miles.

3. Turn left onto California St. and drive west approximately 0.5 miles.

4. Turn north (right) onto Pierce Street and drive 500 feet to the corner of Pierce and Clay.


Parking
Parking is curbside in the area of the church and Alta Plaza Park. It often takes nearly 15 minutes to find a parking place, so plan to take time looking for a space if you drive!

Public Transportation

BART
1. Exit BART at Embarcadero Station

2. Walk to Sacramento St. and take the 1 California bus (continue with the directions below).


MUNI Bus
1. Take the 1 California bus to the corner of California and Pierce. (Note that the 1 California outbound bus turns from Sacramento onto California just before the Pierce/California intersection.)

2. Exit the bus at Pierce and walk up the hill approximately 500 feet to the corner of Pierce and Clay.
